Judd Brammah: Managing Director

 

Judd Brammah graduated in 1991 with a BSc 1st Class Hons. in Engineering & Product Design. Both during his degree and subsequently as a sponsored student, Judd worked for the Xerox Corp.

 

In 1994, he moved into Medical Devices with Howmedica (Pfizer Corp.), working in first in Orthopaedic sales and then UK marketing. He was awarded the Howmedica ‘European Sales Performer of the Year’ in 1996.

 

In 1998, Stryker Corp. acquired Howmedica and Judd worked through the process of integration in a number of marketing roles at UK and European level, including Head of Marketing Dept. (UK).

 

He has experience of moving distributors to subsidiaries, international product development and the delivery of medical education at a global level. Between 2004 & 2011 he worked for Wright Medical Technology Inc. in European Marketing.

 

From 2011 to present, he worked in consulting & business development, focusing on companies seeking investment.

 

In 2013, Synergy Medical Technologies Ltd was incorporated to specifically focus on delivering orthopaedic devices and emerging stem cell therapeutics to the Orthopaedic surgeon and patient.

 

Karen Collingwood BSc. MBBS, FRCA, PGCME: Company Director



Dr Collingwood has responsibility for Clinical Strategy and planning in Synergy Medical Technologies Ltd and is qualified and experienced in medical education; including teaching and assessment of medical students and junior doctors, as well as allied medical professionals including nurses, midwives and paramedics.

 

Dr Collingwood is also a Consultant Anaesthetist at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (QVH). This hospital is a specialist centre in the provision of anaesthesia for maternity services, major reconstructive surgery, burns and corneoplastic surgery. QVH has links with Brighton and Sussex Medical School and with major university hospitals throughout the world as part of a program of visiting fellowships.
